Afewerki Zeru of UC-Colorado Springs won the men's 5,000-meter title in 13:52.72 and Adams State's Awet Beraki placed second in 13:54.56 at the NCAA Division 2 Outdoor Championships at Grand Valley State in Allendale, Mich. Beraki also finished second in the 10,000 in 28:54.61 and Zeru took third in 29:02.83, as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference swept the top three in both races, along with Dillon Powell of Colorado School of Mines.
